Abstract:	可讀性公式（readability formula）的發展在英文方面已有很長的一段歷史，其中，泰勒（Taylor）更從完形心理學（gestalt）理解人們認知過程的方法，創造處「閉塞式測驗過程」（cloze procedure）來研究可讀性公式的簡易實用價值；這種方式是把一篇文章中，每隔幾個字遮去一字，然後由受測者填出遮去的字，填對的字數越多，表示文章的可讀性越高。在中文方面，近來只有于宗先（一九五九年）、楊孝濚（一九七○）與陳世敏（一九七一）三篇論文研究中文可讀性公式，但此三篇論文都認為中文可讀性公式的發展有其價值，並有助於推展台灣新聞和傳播事業。本研究利用訪問和測驗研究的方式，測量對稱字率、難字辭率、特殊字辭率、每句平均字辭數等項目，得出的結論為，在本研究中對於可讀性影響最大的自變數是特殊辭率，其次是難辭率，再次是計一到十率。而每句平均字數，每句平均辭數成語數率和完全對稱字率影響力最低。
