    Abstract: 克勞塞維茲的中心思想有下列三個重點：極點性與集體性、精神戰力至上原則、政治指導戰爭原則。其總體戰概念在第一及第二次世界大戰中得到實踐。在核子時代裏，總體戰的概念有一段輝煌的時光，但隨著軍事技術的發展，總體戰遭到質疑。為了「挽救」戰爭，終於發展出有限戰爭的概念。但有限戰爭並未真的挽救克勞塞維茲，它只是使戰爭變的「可行」而已；然而，武力的使用卻愈庸俗化、世俗化。這是克勞塞維茲戰爭思想所遭受的最大挑戰。事實上，克勞塞維茲的理論並沒有「破產」，真正思想破產的是那些胡亂套用理論的人。我們必須重新認識，戰爭不僅只是政治目標達成的手段而已，它還必須能夠限制政治意志漫無邊際的發展。
