Abstract:	法國是我國近年來的重點外交國家，我國亟欲與之發展密切關係，甚至是官方層級的關係。但是我國的這項主觀想法遭到相當程度的挫折，巴黎─台北關係一直不能如預期般地開展。本文試圖以心理分析法來探究法國的中國政策的本質。經過分析法國決策者的主觀認知及心態後，我們發現，法國高層人士對於中國問題的認知相當一致，深受傳統因素之影響。他們深信中共是唯一合法的中國，相當重視與北京的關係。巴黎─北京關係雖然有一些邏輯上的矛盾，但是仍然被法國決策人士認為是唯一符合法國利益的關係。他們一致主張，法國願意與台灣發展非官方關係，只要以不危及巴黎─北京關係為前提。也就因為有這些根深柢固的觀念，法國與台灣的關係發展上就先入為主地設下了界限，法國政府高層中不乏同情台灣的人士，但是這些情感上的支持，在政治現實主義的決策原則前，並不能發揮多大的影響力。
