Abstract:	行政範圍的擴大，帶來公文書及記錄的爆增，對研究近代史的學者而言，想要在如山似海的資料中進行研究探索，實在是極為艱難的工作。本稿就為理解並整理近代由官方製作的記錄文書所面臨的種種問題，予以說明；並舉出近代日本公文書管理制度之特質及其目錄化，以為補充。 There has been archives and records explosion as a result of the extension of the administrative scope. Scholars of modern history have thus confronted tremendous difficulties in locating and researching on such multitudes of historical data.The paper aims to help understand and put in good order various problems brought about from the archives recorded by the official authorities, give a clear statement thereof, and point out the features and the cataloging of the archives management system in modern Japan.
