    Abstract: 本研究的目的是闡明台灣的大學日語教師的五技能別專業知能之重要程度與表現程度，並將教師屬性的差異以及其改善的優先順序明確化，以作為教師促進專業成長的基礎資料。研究中以台灣14所大學的206名台籍日語教師為研究對象進行問卷調查，問卷中針對他們所教授技能課程（聽力、會話、閱讀、作文、翻譯）的專業知能，進行自我評量其重要程度與表現程度。分析130份有效問卷得知：台籍教師認為本研究的27項五技能別專業知能皆具有高度重要性，但自我評量其表現程度為中等以上。此結果顯示著台籍教師自認尚未達到對自己專業知能的期待值，在理論（理想）與實踐（實際）之間存在差距之現狀。而屬性（性別、教授年數）的討論結果，僅在會話課中存在一些顯著差異。此外，根據重要-表現程度分析法（IPA分析），也闡明了應該優先保持的專業能力為需求掌握能力、教材活用技巧，以及教學實踐能力等；而應該優先改進的專業能力為聽力與翻譯練習的設計能力以及會話指導能力等。
    This study examined Taiwanese Japanese-language teachers’ five skills of professional ability by using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and set priorities in teacher professional development. 206 Taiwanese Japanese-language teachers from 14 universities participated in a questionnaire survey, inviting the participants to assess their perceived views on the importance levels of 27 items in a Five Skills of Professional Ability Scale and their actual performance level of each item in teaching. The results based on 130 returned valid questionnaires showed that the participants perceived all the 27 items as highly important, but only felt satisfactory in real teaching performance. This gap indicated that the teachers fail to meet the expectations of their professional performance. According to the skills shown in the grid of IPA, what the teachers can keep up the good work and need to concentrate more were also discussed, which is expected to serve as a guideline for teacher professional development in the future.
    本研究の目的は、教師の成長を促すための基礎資料として、台湾の大学で働く台湾人日本語教師の五技能別専門能力の重要度と達成度を明らかにし、さらに教師の属性による相違も、その改善の優先順位も明確にすることである。台湾の14大学の台湾人教師206名を対象に、担当する技能別授業（聴解・会話・読解・作文・翻訳）について自身の専門能力の重要度と達成度を評価させる質問紙調査を実施した。有効回答130名分を分析した結果、台湾人教師は本研究の27項目の五技能別専門能力に対して、いずれも重要度が高いと認識しているものの、達成度は中程度以上であると自己評価している。台湾人教師は、自分の専門能力が自身の期待値に達していないと認識しており、理論（理想）と実践（現実）の間にギャップが存在する現状が明らかになった。また、属性（性別、教授年数）の検討では、会話授業においてのみ、一部で自己評価の差が示された。さらに、重要度-パフォーマンス分析（IPA分析）により、優先的に維持すべき専門能力として、ニーズ把握力や教材活用術、授業実践力であるのに対し、優先的に改善すべき専門能力として、聴解・翻訳練習の考案力や会話指導力であることも明らかになった。
