    Abstract: 劉智（1660?－1730?）是明清時期中國穆斯林經學傳統的集大成者，也是將王岱輿 （？－1657？）所開展的伊斯蘭傳統與中國儒、釋、道三教傳統的比較與對話推展到巔 峰期的思想大家，劉氏的三大巨著：《天方典禮擇要解》（康熙48 年初版，1709）、《天 方性理》（康熙49 年初版，1710）、《天方至聖實錄年譜》（乾隆41 年初版，1776）包含 了對中國與伊斯蘭傳統匯通的完整思想體系。本計畫嘗試運用比較宗教哲學方法及文獻 分析法，依下列五大課題來探討劉智的思想： （1）劉智與王岱輿及其他經堂學者的關係為何？劉氏如何從伊斯蘭本位立場轉向 與儒、釋、道做對話並進而融攝三教思想呢？其主要的思想轉折過程為何呢？ （2）劉智進行伊斯蘭教與儒家傳統之比較，其主要切入點為何？劉氏的蘇非主義 思想如何與宋明理學的宇宙論與心性論進行對話呢？劉氏又如何對伊斯蘭「法」 （Shar."ah）與儒家的「禮」做倫理學的比較呢？ （3）劉智對佛、道兩教的切入點為何？劉氏是以何種蘇非思想的概念來解讀佛教 的反本體論思想，進而能夠調和伊斯蘭的「絕對真實」（Haqq）與佛教的「涅槃寂滅」 （Nirvana）呢？劉氏的「大世界」與「小世界」合一思想又如何與道教的陰陽五行宇宙 論比較呢？ （4）劉智對西學的瞭解如何？劉氏是否和耶穌會士有所接觸或研讀這方面的相關 著作？是否可能找到劉氏對基督教觀點的論據？ （5）明末清初時期，漢族與回族社會之互動狀況為何？雙方的知識階層是否有所 交涉或對立？本計畫企圖透過對明清時期的相關史料之耙疏整理，勾勒出劉智思想所置 身的知識－社會形構。
