    Abstract: Процесс интуитивного постижения закономерностей бытия и существования личности－один из основных объектов изображения в творчестве А. П. Чехова. Писателя всегда интересовали не столько явления реального мира, сколько формирование представлений о них в человеческом сознании. Подобный гносеологический взгляд на действительность характерен и для творчества В. Г. Распутина (не случайно современники называли его «сибирским Чеховым»). В этом смысле сопоставление повести Чехова «Степь» (1888) и рассказа Распутина «Век живи－век люби» (1982), －произведений, написанных в разное историческое время и разными по дарованию писателями, －является правомерным и продуктивным. Помимо нравственно-философской проблематики, повесть Чехова и рассказ Распутина объединяет сюжет－\\"путешествие" (в первом случае－это поездка в город, во втором－в тайгу), главный герой (у Чехова это 9-летний мальчик Егорушка, у Распутина－15-летний подросток Саня), внешняя "бессобытийность" (для писателей важнее показать внутреннюю жизнь героев), особый подход к изображению природы (параллелизм между повествовательными и описательными элементами), исповедальная манера повествования, а также символические образы, метафорические сравнения и описания.
    The process of self-consciousness and the regularity of living of human being could be considered as an essential topic in A. P. Chekhov`s writings. Such a topic is also attractive to V. G. Rasputin, a writer in the 20th Century. Similar to Chekhov, some significant concepts of self-consciousness could be found in Rasputin’s writings. The typical features of Rasputin’s writings exist in realizing the “Epistemology” in daily life. Therefore V. G. Rasputin was reputed as “Siberian A. P. Chekhov.”\\r In this paper, we would like to take Chekhov’s “Steppe” (1888) and Rasputin’s “You live and love” (1982) into comparison from the self-consciousness perspective under different historical time and different writers on talent. In addition to the moral-philosophical issue, there exist some similarities between “Steppe” and “You live and love”, including, 1) the Content: They were both “travel notes”. Steppe describes a trip to city, and “You live and love” describes a trip to taiga; 2) the Protagonist: A 9-years boy Egorushka in “Steppe”, and a 15-years teenager Sanya in “You live and love”; 3) “All is well” externally: For writers it is more important to show an internal life of protagonists; 4) The special approach to the image of the nature: Impressionistic parallelism between narrative and descriptive elements were both utilized; and 5) Psychoanalysis: The narration of personality, symbolical images, metaphorical comparisons and descriptions were both involved.
