    Title: 我國報業自律的展望

    Abstract: 本文旨在說明我國新聞產業「自律運動」的出現背景，以及該運動的推行成效。「自律運動」的出現是為了以「自律公約」取代「出版法」，然而，這個目標卻沒有達成。另一方面，本文是透過下述四點：(1)由受理案件；(2)由「台北市報業新聞評議委員會」關於刊登醫藥廣告之決議文；(3)由新聞評議會的職掌；(4)由評議委員的榮譽職，來檢討報業自律的成效；根據上述四點的分析，本文認為報業自律仍有待改善。不過，本文同時認為如果人民知識水準提高，報業就不敢無的放矢，自律也就自然會出現。此外，如果報業負責人能有決心，也可慢慢改進自律的表現。
