Title:	大眾傳播媒介對台灣區選舉結果之影響

Abstract:	本文以洪炎秋這位立法委員增補選舉中的候選人為例，探究大眾傳播是否能影響選舉的結果。本文的基本假設是：(1)選民熟知的問題或人物(選民已有預存立場的問題或人物)，大眾媒介的影響效果可疑；(2)對於新問題或新人物，大眾媒介可以影響選民的態度與投票行為。問卷調查的結果顯示，本研究與已往的研究結果有以下不同：(1)多數選民對於選舉新聞沒有明顯的好惡；(2)多數選民似乎沒有在家庭中談論公共事務的習慣，因此，在本研究中，家人或親戚似乎沒有發揮太大的影響力；(3)在本研究中，大眾媒介影響選民態度和投票行為的力量，似乎比已往的發現較大。本文認為，這種研究結果可以驗證研究的基本假設。
