    Title: 台灣地方選舉政黨輔選宣傳之方式與其效果

    Abstract: 政黨以爭取政權為目的。在民主國家裡，爭取政權的唯一方法就是在競選中獲得勝利，因此競選期間，黨須全力輔助本黨候選人從事競選活動，於是輔選宣傳就成為政黨在競選期間的主要工作之一。

    而台灣地方選舉，政黨都運用各種宣傳方式幫助本黨候選人爭取勝利，但其方式也不外是利用宣傳媒介與透過面對面的宣傳，而效果如何就是本研究的重心。根據美國的研究，本文針對台灣選舉宣傳方式研究的假設是認為政黨透過宣傳媒介進行輔選雖有效果，但並非絕對。同時選民對報紙上的選舉新聞大多只做為參考，面對面的宣傳在地方選舉中反而較能發揮作用，而地方選舉中也有競選意見領袖的存在。

    經過本文的研究，在台灣的地方選舉中，選民大多在接受宣傳浪潮中及後才決定選誰，因此，競選宣傳對選民的投票行為可能有很大的影響。另外，競選宣傳對教育低選民、非國民黨選民、農工商業選民、本省籍選民較能產生效果；政黨透過大眾媒介進行輔選宣傳的主要效果在於「報知」與「參考」，但也有說服的效果與反效果；反而是親友較易影響選民的投票行為，也有意見領袖的存在。
