    Title: 台灣農民公共事務消息來源之研究

    Abstract: 本文旨在透過問卷研究來探究台灣農民是透過哪些途徑獲得公共事務的消息，並檢視農民社會是有存在「意見領袖」。基於「兩級傳播」理論與相關研究，本文假設農民對公共事務的消息主要是來自「口語傳播」。研究結果顯示：(1)農民的公共訊息主要來源是口語傳播、次為報紙，再次為廣播；(2)農民大都聽不懂電視新聞，因此，電視在鄉村並非最重要的傳播媒介；(3)兩級傳播的現象在傳統農村並未比較現代化農村來得顯著；(4)教育程度較高、較常進城、經濟狀況較佳的農民，較常使用廣播、報紙和電視，也較熟悉公共事務的消息；(5)年紀較輕、教育程度較高、較常進城、經濟狀況較佳的農民，較常收看電視新聞。
