    Title: 台灣地區大眾傳播過程與民眾反應之研究

    Abstract: 本文旨在透過問卷調查來了解「傳播活躍份子」在傳播過程擔負的角色，並藉此反思「二級傳播理論」與「意見領袖」的不足。主要發現如下：(1)媒介行為與親身傳播：民眾最常接觸的大眾媒介是電視、報紙、廣播和電視，而親身活動性很低、社交活動也少；(2)傳播過程與反應：民眾重大公共事務消息的主要來源是大眾媒介，其中又以電視為主；(3)個人特性與傳播過程及反應的關係：最會影響消息傳播過程與可能反應的因素是居住區、教育程度及現代性的傾向；(4)傳播行為與過程及反應的關係：人們使用大眾媒介的行為越積極，他對各類消息的知悉程度越高，卻不一定更接受相關態度或依據消息來行動；(5)告知者與非告知者：半數以上民眾在大眾傳播中都把自己所知的消息告知別人；(6)傳播活躍者男多於女，他們接觸大眾媒介的時間不一定比較多，卻比較偏好「硬性」素材。
