Abstract:	參考館員透過閱聽新聞能了解世界上發生的大小事，從中得到豐富的知識，協助解答讀者的問題，並對執行參考工作與處理其他事務有很大的幫助。本文旨在探討參考館員使用新聞資源解答使用者問題，與利用新聞資源於其他工作上之情形，並進一步檢視新聞資源在參考館員增進新知、擴大視野、豐富知識中所扮演的角色。 This article presents that situation which reference librarians use news resources for answering and other related services. Moreover, this article also explores how news resources may play an important role in reference librarians` reception of the latest information, enrichment of their knowledge, and expansion of their vision.
