Abstract:	本文主要是利用文獻探討方式，了解美國大學圖書館在網路新科技環伺下，圖書館與電腦中心之關係變遷與管理情形，以及網路科技對於讀者政策的影響、美國大學圖書館的因應之道，希望藉由美國大學圖書館的經驗，提供予國內大學圖書館一借鏡及參考。 This paper aims to understand through related literature studies how university libraries of the United States are developed and managed with computing centersby means of the global network technology, how libray readers` policy is influenced by the network technology and what measures American university libraries have taken to cope with such a situation. It is hoped that the understanding of such experiences of the American university libraies will be a very helpful reference to the development of university libraries in Taiwan Area.
