| Abstract: | 檔案整編的實務工作上，訂立適合的分類編排架構是基礎也是一大難題。而私文書的檔案編排，由於沒有如同機關法規規範的分類系統，相較於機關檔案需要花費更多的心力整理出檔案脈絡。基於這個原因，使得國內典藏機構在私文書的分類上難以有一致性的編排原則。
本研究透過訪談中央研究院近代史研究所檔案館、中央研究院近代史研究所胡適紀念館、宜蘭縣史館、國史館、國史館臺灣文獻館、國家發展委員會檔案管理局等六個單位的檔案整編實務工作負責人員，瞭解各單位在檔案分類編排時的決策過程與經驗，並配合比較分析研究來討論檔案分類之類型。
根據研究結果提出結論如下：一、私文書分類大致上遵循檔案學概念的分類原則，但各單位間缺乏一致性的分類架構；二、私文書無法適用統一「分類表」，但可歸納出「慣例」參照；三、影響「分類」的結果不僅是檔案本身，包含徵集、典藏、開放的過程都與分類息息相關；四、私文書分類可參照「分類階層」建議模版。
最後提出三項建議：一、由機構內檔案實務人員一同討論具「高同質性」的分類大方向；二、建立一套完善的私文書徵集、典藏、整編的流程；三、宣導使用者關於分類階層概念。
The establishment of a suitable classification framework is a fundamental and difficult issue in the practical work of archival arrangement. In contrast, the arrangement of private papers does not have the same classification framework as the standards of governmental regulations, so it takes more effort to organize the records in contexts than the government records. For this reason, it is difficult for archival institutions to have consistent principles for the arrangement of private papers.
The study interviewed the Archives at the Institute of Modern History in Academia Sinica, the Hu Shih Memorial Hall, the Institute of Yilan County History, the Academia Historica, the Taiwan Historica, and the National Archives Administration to understand the decision-making process and experience of each unit in archival classification and arrangement, and to discuss the types of archival classification with comparative analysis.
The findings are as follows: (1) The classification of private papers generally follows the classification principles of archival science, but there is no consistent classification framework between institutions; (2) It is not possible to apply a standardized "classification table" to private papers, but "conventions" can be summarized for reference; (3) Affects the result of the "classification" is not only the records in contexts, but also the archival acquisition, collection, and access are all closely related to the classification framework; (4) The proposed "Classification Hierarchy" template can provide a reference for the classification of private papers.
According to the conclusions of the research, there are three suggestions as follows: (1) It is up to the archivists to discuss and decide the direction of the classification framework; (2) Establishing a comprehensive process for the acquisition, collection and arrangement of private papers; (3) Educate users on the concept of archives control level. |
