Abstract:	本書以臺灣電視自 1962 年成立第一家電視臺發展至今，為歷史軸線，分別以「播出六十年」、「節目產製」及「轉型與競爭」三大部份，從不同的角度分析灣電視節目的演變，在不同時代面臨的問題與挑戰。各章節雖各自獨立，但綜觀全書，亦可看到電視節目的製作及內容，在歷史過程中不斷受政治與經濟雙重響。電視是科技產物，科技伴隨著社會的發展，使得電視不斷地演變，對社會的意義亦隨之改變。
