本文就2005年社會科學引文索引（Social Sciences Citation Index）之期刊引用報告（Journal Citation Reports）資料庫，所收錄146種社會學與社會工作期刊之引用數據特性，加以分析介紹，進而就期刊自我引用、期刊自我被引用與各引用數據之相關性，分別進行統計檢測，並就二種自我引用率驗證其異同。 This study analyzes the characteristics of the citation data from 146 sociology and social work journals included in the Journal Citation Reports in the 2005 Social Sciences Citation Index. The analysis is conducted in terms of the number of citations, impact factors, immediacy index, citing half-life, cited half-life, self-citing rate (synchronous self-citation) and self-cited rate (diachronic self-citation). The study also analyses the statistics of synchronous and diachronic self-citations.
