    Abstract: 近年來由於電腦與資訊科技的進步，與數位化之相關標準與技術日漸成熟，使國內外各檔案管理單位紛紛投入資源，進行檔案數位化工作，以數位型式儲存、傳播、加值應用具有歷史價值、特殊性與稀有性之檔案資料。我國檔案管理局正積極籌畫國家檔案館之設立，相關規劃勢必要將數位化之相關議題納入考量，以強化國家檔案館在數位時代中所能扮演的角色與功能。因此，本研究希望透過國內外相關檔案管理單位的數位化經驗，讓正在成形的國家檔案館在經營管理方面有所借鏡，為將來發展提出更適當的數位化服務政策與策略，特別是數位化對國家檔案館的對外服務空間設計部分與顧客應用服務方面。為探討此一重要議題，本研究首先將透過文獻充分瞭解其他先進國家之國家檔案館在數位化方面的發展，及其對該館在空間設計、顧客服務與使用效益方面的影響。其次，亦將國內已進行檔案數位化工作機構之經驗納入分析，以瞭解數位化工作對這些機構在經營管理方面的影響與衝擊。最後，藉由上述之研究與分析，為我國國家檔案館之未來數位化服務提供適當的規劃方向與建議。
    In recent years, due to the advance of computer and information technology a number of related standards and technical maturity of digital archives have been developed. The National Archives in Taiwan can play an important role in the digital age. Therefore, this study aims to explore this important topic. First of all, analyzing the archives digitalization project undertaken in other advanced countries, especially in its impact on the design of reading space and changes of customer services patterns. Secondly, taking several domestic agencies work experience into consideration for the policy making. Finally, using the above-mentioned research and analysis for National Archives, providing appropriate management direction and planning strategies of future digital services.
