    Abstract: 本計畫從研究十四至十六世紀講道詞、聖經詮釋、修辭及教育理論為始，以瞭解其時基督徒在採用古典或中古修辭學來詮釋聖經時與前人有何異同為基石。此異同將用以瞭解《農夫皮爾斯之信條》(Pierce Ploughmans Crede)、《愉悅的閒?》(The Pastime of Pleasure)、及《仙後》第一章(The Faerie Queene)中、其作者如何以重塑古典／中古修辭學來呈現救恩論。透過本計畫，我想尋得此三位作者之定位，瞭解當其他基督徒一直在聖經詮釋中以重塑古典／中古修辭學來呈現不同版本的救恩論時，他們較依循何種模式。透過本計畫，我希望瞭解這三個文本中的救恩論之呈現是較依循中吉修辭學傳統還是開更正教時期前後修辭學之先河。
