    Abstract: 俄羅斯於六月中旬選舉總統，第一輪投票結果無人過半數勝。七月三日舉行第二輪投票，由現任總統葉爾欽與共黨領袖朱岡諾夫對決。結果，爾欽以百分之五十四點三九獲票率蟬聯。氏獲勝因素頗多，以其能掌控媒體為最。葉氏連任顯示，俄經改與民主化可繼續推行，但左派與民族主義勢力猶存，將是其施政阻力。此外，他仍面臨眾多難題，諸如經濟未見回升、他本人健康不佳、權鬥不可避免、車臣戰事難以善了等。在競選期間，氏曾公布「行動網領」，為其今後施政確立了基本走向。如果他能平安渡過四年，逐步實施其網領，則四年之後俄羅斯將有一個新面貌。
