    Abstract: 安東﹒契訶夫（AHTOH ПaвлиЧ Чexoв，1860－1904）是眾所周知的醫生作家，醫治病人與文學創作是他生命中的兩大重心。由於職業使然，契訶夫對於生老病死的體會較一般人來得多，也因行醫接觸各階層與年齡的人，這些都為他的文學創作提供絕佳的題材。作家在作品中描繪形形色色的人物，其中一部分是他的同行－醫生。本文則試圖探討契訶夫作品中的治療者形象，而不侷限於「醫生」的形象，是因為契訶夫的作品中，提供醫療照護者，除了醫生之外，還有使用民俗療法與同類療法的治療者。儘管後者在他的作品中所佔比例相當少，但若略過不提，將無法獲得其作品中治療者形象的全貌。
    Anton Chekhov is a well-known doctor-writer. He dedicates his life to medicine and literary creation. As a doctor, Chekhov experiences more illness and death than ordinary people, and gets in touch with persons of different backgrounds. He turns those experiences into excellent literary subject. Chekhov depicts all kinds of people, including his colleagues-doctors.This article focuses on the images of healers, not just doctors`, in Chekhov`s works. Since in his creations, there is not only doctor, but also folk remedist and homeopathist, providing medical care. Although there are small proportions of the latter one in his works, we have to analyze these parts to comprehensively summarize the images of healers.
