    Abstract: 本計畫──「二十世紀英國文學研究（英國篇）」──乃為「台灣地區英美文學研究之評量」整合型計畫中之子計畫之一，旨在探究台灣地區數十年來有關二十世紀英國文學之學術研究，一則見證並評量既有之學術成就與發展，二則分析思考未來之可能研究趨勢與方向。所謂鑒往開來，除了希望能對二十世紀英國文學在台灣地區近五十年的研究發展史有所分析與探討外，並希望能進一步掌握二十世紀台灣本土文學文化之研究生態，進而省思二十世紀英國文學研究在台灣特有的文化歷史場域中，所牽惹衍生有關文學/文化基準和典律生成之議題。本計畫之研究方向有三：（一）探討二十世紀英國文學在台灣近半世紀之研究趨勢與發展，並就相關資料的評估，兼涉文學批評與理論的引介與挪用，相關學會、期刊的建制與定位；（二）此外，並參考同時期歐美國際主流有關二十世紀英國文學研究之態勢，以觀察反思台灣在地文化脈絡與學術研究之特色；（三）藉以省思台灣未來學術研究之發展，規劃兼具在地性與國際視域之研究走向。
