    摘要: 在全球網路資訊氾濫與不斷膨脹的今日，將計量學的觀點與方法應用在網路空間資訊與資訊媒體的探究上，像一創新而重要的研究方向，並藉此以了解與解釋網路世界的各種現象。本文皆在引介與探討網路計量學，首先陳述其興起背景，再對其定義與研究範疇作一界定，然後介紹其研究方法與工具，以及其相關應用研究，最後歸結出幾項研究過程中易遭遇的困難，並展望網路計量學這一塊資訊研究領域的新生地。
    As the information and communication technologies progress, web resources have been growing and overflowing at present. It is important and necessary to applying methods of the metrics to study information and information media in Cyberspace, so as to understand and interpret various phenomenons in internet environment. This article mainly discusses the Webometrics, dealing with its history, definition and scope, and introducing its research methods and tools, as well as its applications. Finally, several difficulties of Webmetics research are pointed out.
