Abstract:	臺灣地區圖書資訊學教育自1955年在師范大學社會教育學系成立圖書館組以來,迄今已發展成十個相關圖書資訊學系所(臺灣大學圖書資訊學系、淡江大學資訊與圖書館學系、輔仁大學圖書資訊學系、世新大學資訊傳播學系、政治大學圖書資訊與檔案學研究所、師范大學圖書資訊學研究所、玄奘人文資訊傳播學院圖書資訊學系、中興大學圖書資訊學研究所與佛光人文社會學院教育資訊學研究所),以及在職專班碩士學程(交通大學電機資訊學院在職專班數位圖書資訊碩士學程)。1992~1998年間,各系所分別更改名稱以因應圖書資訊學發展潮流,顯現同中求異的教學研究方向。
