| Abstract: | Сон как развёртывание сюжета был одним из излюбленных приёмов Н. В. Гоголя в первый период его творчества. Большое внимание, которое Гоголь уделяет этой теме, связано отчасти и с семейными преданиями Гоголей-Яновских, в которых мотив пророческого сна играл важную роль. В цикле «Вечера на хуторе близ Диканьки» сон в том или ином виде встречается во всех произведениях, описания сна мы находим и в большинстве «петербургских повестей». При этом и характер сна, и его мотивы, и сами способы введения описания сна в ткань художественного повествования весьма разнообразны. Основным содержанием статьи является классификация типов сна (здоровый, хмельной, наркотический) и сновидений (сон-бред, сон-грёза, провидческий сон и т.д.), переживаемых героями «украинских» и «петербургских» повестей в разные моменты жизни.
In Gogol’s early works, “dreams” were one of the techniques he frequently used. Dreams help direct the plot towards a certain development as well as reveal future development. It is generally believed that Gogol’s preference of the theme of dreams is likely to be related to his family legend. Dreams appear in not only Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanra but also Petersburg Tales. Features of dreams, motives, and a variety of ways leading characters into dreams are seen in the works. This article mainly explores types of dreams—healthy, drunken, numb—and different categories of dreams—murmuring in dreams, fantasizing in dreams, and foreseeing in dreams, etc. |
