| Abstract: | 標準資料是經濟部中央標準局及工商圖書館蒐集的館藏之一，對於科技研究與工商企業而言，非常重要。工商系所的學生，如果能了解標準資料，對於日後的工作也將有所助益。本文從標準資料的定義、種類、蒐集以及如何檢索標準資料，做一簡單的介紹，藉以拋磚引玉，增進對標準資料的了解，進而利用標準資料。
Standard materials, one of the core collections at national Bureau of Standards(NBS) and some technology and commerce libraries, are important for industry and scientific research, Serving as a short introduction to standard materials, this paper provides various definitions of standard materials and examines collection processes and ways of material search. It is expected that patrons will be beter informed of the use of standard materials. Classified under various indexes such as subject, usage, area, and technical term, standard materials include model materials, technical regulations, professional documents and specifications, and so on. Catalogues such as BS, DIN, ANSI and some standard reference books published by NBS are useful in the collection process. There are several cataloguing methods for standard materials : subject Classification, chronological Classification, Universal Decimal Classification, and Key-word Classification. |
