    Title: 日本語教育と日本研究の連携─アーティキュレーションという連携─

    Abstract: 地球規模の国際化（グローバリゼーション）が進む現在、世界的に影響を及ぼす事柄が多極的に生起し、しかもその内容は多様化している。このような状況を受けて、学問・研究の各領域も、各々のディシプリン(discipline：学術規範)の枠組みの中だけで集約・収斂していては、もはや社会的要請に応えられない趨勢となっている。いわゆる「学際的アプローチ」(interdisciplinary)の必要性の急激な増大である。日本語教育と日本研究とは、いわば車の両輪として、日本と諸外国との相互理解を増進するための研究と実践に努めてはきたものの、必ずしも両者（輪）の駆動軸が、それぞれに必要な回転エネルギーを等しく伝達してきたとは言えない実情が垣間見られていた。しばしば、前者には「道具論」として、後者には「学術論」として、まったく回転運動が噛み合わないエネルギーが、それぞれに伝えられていたようである。そのため、時として、一台の車としての正常な前進運動に支障を来たすこともあり、双方の力のモーメントやタイミングを調整することが、かねてからの懸案となっている。それを、両者の連携強化、と言うのは容易であるが、単に理念的にではなく実際性を伴ったものにするためには、一工夫が必要だろう。たとえばその一法として、いま日本語教育で盛んに論じられている教育課程間・能力レベル間での＜継続的で滑らかな上昇移行・連携＞、いわゆる「アーティキュレーション」の理念と手法を、日本語教育と日本研究との連携に応用してはどうか、と提案するのが、本稿の主意である。
