Title:	社交媒體研究-回顧與展望 Introduction to the Special Issue: Current Challenges and Future Prospects of Social Media Research

Abstract:	社交媒體已成為許多民眾娛樂、社交、購物、或尋求資訊的重要工具。根據Pew Research Center（2016）調查，直至2016年四月，有79%美國會上網民眾有使用臉書，比起2015年仍然呈現成長趨勢，臉書仍為最受歡迎的社群平台。臉書使用頻率也呈現成長趨勢，調查發現有76%臉書使用者每日會造訪網站至少一次。在台灣，臉書使用也非常普遍。根據科技部傳播調查資料庫一期四次（2015年）調查資料顯示，台灣有65%民眾使用社交媒體，平均一個禮拜使用臉書6.02天，且平均一天使用93.18分鐘。近十年來，隨著社交媒體對於民眾生活影響越深，相關研究、論文、書籍也日益增多。
