    Title: 以全心學習為中介角色:僑生與本地生的生活目標與品味之關係
    Mindful Learning as a Mediated: A Comparative Study on the Relationship Between Life Goals and Savoring for Overseas Chinese Students and Local Students

    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討僑生與本地生的生活目標、全心學習及品味關係發展之比較。研究對象為771位大學生,其中馬來西亞僑生275位、港澳生229位、本地生267位。在資料分析上,採用描述統計、多變量變異數分析及結構方程式模型。研究結果顯示:一、本地生、馬來西亞籍僑生、港澳籍僑生的全心學習在生活目標與品味扮演中介的角色;二、「本地生」在「個人/家庭目標」、「社會目標」、「抑制與擴大品味」的平均得分上,顯著高於「港澳籍」的僑生;三、「馬來西亞籍」僑生在「個人/家庭目標」、「擴大品味」的平均得分上,顯著高於「港澳籍」的僑生;四、對於學生事務處而言,港澳籍僑生的生活目標是最需要被關切的。最後,本研究依據研究結果,針對高等教育及未來研究提出建議。
    The research aims to explore the difference of life goals, mindful learning, and savoring between local and non-local students from the psychological viewpoints about multicultural backgrounds. The research studies 826 students, among which 275 are Malaysians, 229 come from Hong Kong and Macau, while 267 are locals. As for data analysis methods, descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) are adopted. The research outcomes show that: (1) For local, Malaysian, Hong Kong and Macau students, mindful learning play full mediator role between life goals and savoring; (2) In terms of “individual/family/social goals” and “dampening/amplifying savoring”, local students obtain a higher average score than Hong Kong and Macau students; (3) In terms of “individual/family goals” and “amplifying savoring”, Malaysians get a higher average score than students from Hong Kong and Macau; (4) As far as for office of student affairs, Hong Kong and Macau student’s life goals most need to be concerned. At last, based on research outcomes, the research puts forward suggestions for higher education and future studies.
