Title:	21世紀的教師圖像：教學現場之反思

Abstract:	中華文化是一個強調順序與倫常之社會，研究者可透過對於古文的探究，來梳理從古以來華人文化脈絡下，社會的階級與秩序的建立。對此，在華人社會當中，自古以來對於老師這樣的一個職業，一直存在著尊敬以及崇高的社會價值。古語云:「天、地、君、親、師」，由此可見即便在古代的封建社會與君王統治下，老師依舊僅排在天地與君王、雙親後的第五順位。除了可以從古語當中，看到在中華文化脈絡下，老師的崇高地位外；亦可從韓愈師說一文可知老師的功能與角色:「師者，所以傳道、授業、解惑也」。由此可知，老師除了擁有崇高的社會地位外，老師主要功能，就是將「知識」系統性的傳授給學生以及下一代。而這樣的功能，更是世界上各種文明得以獲得保存的原因；因為生命，當碰到不適合生存的環境時，會選擇演化以適應環境、但當生命碰到適合生存的環境時，會選擇繁衍下一代，以延續對於生命的想像。生命繁衍下一代的過程當中，不僅是延續個體與生命，更重要的是希望藉由一代傳過一代，讓鑲嵌與深埋在不同群體生活當中的共同記憶與知識，得以延續。
