    Title: 從混沌理論談邁向新世紀的學校行政研究

    Abstract: 在傳統和非傳統的學校行政領域，有大量的學校行政工作層面不能被當代的行政理論所描述、解釋、預測。當代的學校行政學者們相當地懊惱，有一些看起來似乎是相當細微、無害的小事件，在表面上很快就被遺忘之後，卻演變成為日後的行政救濟主要控訴、煩人的示威活動、嚴厲的抗爭，甚至罷工，這些事件的出現並無關於行政人員的能力、先見之明、智力、知識和敏銳度的高低。因為這些事件與原來行政工作的特性並無直接的關聯，它們的形成象徵著一種混亂狀態的發生，但是它們的再出現似乎是有規則性和週期，產生混沌的系統。混沌理論的倡導者認為學校行政工作者應該將工作複雜、現象多變的行政事務模式化，但這些模式代表著非線性的型態，來分解模式結構的潛藏脈絡，進而建立「混沌系統」。混沌理論應用到學校行政的研究上，可以混沌理論的重要內涵為脈絡，其內容包括：1.蝴蝶效應、2.混亂的起源、3.驅散結構、4.隨機龐雜的震憾、5.奇異吸子、6.迴路遞移對稱、7.回饋機制，進而可以統整過去學校行政研究的五大領域：1.信念系統、2.組織系統、3.人的系統、4.行動系統、5.政治系統，對學校行政的研究上產生很大的回響。
