    Abstract: 本研究論文的目的為分析與整理當代西語小說之中譯本在台灣出版的情形。目前在 台灣出版的西班牙中譯本主要有三大文類，分別為戲劇、詩歌和小說。西班牙語戲劇的 中譯本早在80 年代由輔大西研所的研究生發起，並陸續在80 及90 年代由中央圖書公 司出版。不少譯者目前是西語界的學者，可惜的是這一批戲劇的中譯作品出版之後，就 不再有那麼蓬勃的戲劇翻譯潮流。近年西語詩歌之中譯本則以智利詩人聶魯達的（Pablo Neruda）的情詩最著名，而當中又以「二十首情詩和一首絕望的歌」最為膾炙人口；西 班牙詩人的作品則以羅卡（Federico García Lorca）的「吉普賽故事詩」最為著名。然而， 西語詩歌之中譯出版總量較少且出版頻率也偏低。而當代西語小說的中文譯本則有明顯 的佳績。舉例來說，在新聞局登錄有案的2006 年暢銷書排行榜中，「風之影」（La sombra del viento）這部翻譯小說，表現相當出色。它在誠品書店、金石堂及博客來網路書店的 年度銷售成績均在排名10 名之內。此外，還有不少西班牙及中南美洲中譯的作品充斥 台灣書市，故本研究論文就當代西語小說中譯的現況可延伸出幾個值得深入探討的議 題。 觀察目前台灣出版的當代西語小說中譯本，有以下4 個明顯的特徵：1. 由學者執 筆翻譯的傳統；2. 專業譯者的出現；3. 從英譯本轉譯為中文；4. 從簡體字版轉譯為繁 體字。以上的客觀現象，引導出下列幾個議題，同時也是本論文在分析匯整研究題材的 幾個重點：1. 譯者對於翻譯工作的重視程度；2. 翻譯題材的選擇；3. 專業素養的發揮； 4.中西直譯vs.西英中翻譯； 5. 簡體字版的出版趨勢。
    This research focuses on organizing and analyzing the Chinese translation of contemporary Spanish novels publication in Taiwan. The three main categories of Spanish literature translated into Chinese are drama, poetry and novel in Taiwan recently. The Chinese translation of Spanish drama were translated early from 80s by the Spanish postgraduate students of Fu Jen Catholic University, and published by Central Book Publishing Co. later during 80s and 90s. A few of the students who did the translation now work in the Spanish academia. Although it’s a pity that after the publication of those translation, there hasn’t been any tide of translation works on Spanish drama so far. As to the Chinese translation on Spanish poetry, Chilean poetic Pablo Neruda is famous for his love poetry like “Veinte poemas de amor y una canción desesperada”, and the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca for “Romancero gitano”. Nevertheless, the publication on Spanish poetry translated into Chinese is during the depression. On the other side, contemporary Spanish novels translated into Chinese are very successful. The Spanish novel “La sombra del viento” is included in the top 10 in the billboard of “Eslite Books”, “Kingstone” and “books.com.tw”, registered in the top selling books of 2006 of Government Information Office of Taiwan. However, in the Taiwan book market there are many Spanish and Latin American novels. This paper will take the topics for discussion from the phenomenon of contemporary Spanish novels translation into Chinese. There are four obvious characteristics of the Chinese translations of contemporary Spanish novels publication in Taiwan: 1. the traditional translation publication was translated by scholars; 2. the appearance of professional translators; 3. indirectly translated from the English versions; 4. converted from simplified Chinese versions. These objective phenomena conduct to the following topics, which are at the meantime, the principal points while organizing and analyzing our materials: 1. the importance that translators put on the work of translation; 2. the selection of the materials to translate; 3. the manifestation of professionalism; 4. direct translation from Spanish to Chinese vs. translation from Spanish English and from English to Chinese; 5. the trend of publication of the simplified Chinese version
