This is a three-year study. It’s noteworthy how the 108 curriculum guidelines may bring about homeroom teachers’ changes in role play, psychological adjustment, emotional regulation, and well-being. This study therefore aims at developing a resilience-empower program for the homeroom teachers through focus-group discussions of an “expert teacher community”. In addition, this study aims to change people’s impression and expectations toward the homeroom teachers through workshops and a platform characterized by “teaching narratives”. The central ideas of this project are in-depth exploration, construction, and actualization. The main task of the first year will be conducting focus-group discussion, by which several inventories will be developed and a path model will be analyzed; the participants will include 6 expert teachers and about 200 homeroom teachers. The main task of the second year will be developing a resilience-empower program through an “expert teacher community”; the participants will include the 6 expert teachers. Finally, the main task of the third year will be developing an online platform for resilience-empower program; its social practice effects will be examined through workshops; the participants will included about 120 homeroom teachers from Taipei, Taiwan, and Penghu.
