Abstract:	本研究計畫的目的，旨在透過理論文獻的評閱，並以結構方程式模型作為基礎方法學，來檢定本研究計畫所研提的各種影響數學學習成就之因素結構的假設模型，並利用國際教育成就評比資料庫TIMSS 2003和PISA 2003與國內TEPS資料庫三者的實徵資料加以佐證檢定，以期能夠建立一套放之四海皆準的理論模型，用來詮釋世界各國影響數學學習成就的整體因素結構和說明國際教育成就評比的現況，並作為未來教育政策規劃與決策之參考。本研究計畫屬於整合型研究計畫中的一項子計畫，配合其他子計畫的執行，企圖共同達成整合型研究計畫的總目標，即深入探索影響科學與數學學習成就的因素結構到底為何？以期能夠建立一個共同的理論模型來分析、推理、與詮釋這些影響因素的結構，並作為我國規劃教育政策、課程發展、師資培育、教育與訓練、甚至是調整學制的參考。
