Title:	晚清《啟蒙畫報》中的“兒童”圖像符號學分析

Abstract:	早在晚清第一個新式學制——“癸卯學制”實施之前，當時的知識分子就以辦報實踐推行教育新觀念。西方的一些新教育、新話語和思想經由報刊圖文的建構，成為影響近代教育在民間落地與扎根的一環。本研究以中國北方的第一份兒童教育刊物——《啟蒙畫報》（1902-1904）為分析標的，運用巴特的圖像符號學，探究思想轉型時期的教育報刊如何運用圖像與文字建構兒童形象并傳遞教育觀念。研究從兒童學習知識的三方面——學什么、怎么學、如何用予以呈現，并從“明理/禮”“松綁”“活波”的兒童形象建構中，揭示出文本對兒童主體性的重視及對社會現實的改良關懷，其實用、實際、實現的教育主張扎根于兒童日常生活的經驗，體現了比美國教育家杜威更早的實用思想之運用。
