Title:	邏輯實證論的迷思

Abstract:	邏輯實証論（logical positivism）並不只是說我們應該用邏輯與實證做為知識的判準，它還說這是唯一的判準。它並不是如己所宣稱的只是一種活動，它還是一套知識論、心靈論及形上學的綜合體系。本文批評邏輯實証論，但並不意含反對用邏輯與實證做為知識的判準之一，只是希望給「邏輯」與「實證」一個較適切的定位。邏輯實証論所給的定位以及對卜知識的規約，已摧毀了它原初所追求的客觀、理性、甚至民主等目標。要談廿世紀的科學觀，不能不從邏輯實証論談起，因為不管你贊成它也好，反對它也好，它是「是非」的根源。今天雖然有很多人批評邏輯實證論，科學哲學界也有很多新發展的觀點，但邏輯實証論對當今社會科學的研究，卻仍有很深入而無形的影響。有些研究者雖然連「邏輯實證論」這個名詞都沒有聽過，態度及做法上卻是不折不扣的邏輯實證論者；有些研究者雖然批評邏輯實證論，所用的理由卻與邏輯實證論享用了同樣的假設。本文擬對邏輯實証論的思想來源、發展、及其遺留的科學觀做一個分析與評論，假定的主要讀者對象是不自覺的邏輯實證論者。
