    Abstract: 此研究案將使用到的研究方法為個案研究法、訪談、半參與性觀察，及焦點團體對談等。查詢國內的博碩士論文可以發現，關於「裁、併、廢小校」的政策相關論文付之闕如，僅以統計上財政問題及一般常識，來推論小校教學成果不彰、其存在為燙手山芋，而缺乏嚴謹的調查與研究，來支撐相關的政策。政大團隊在此扮演的角色，並非實際下鄉參與協助偏遠學校，而是如何建構可操作的再生模式，讓這些已經顯現、或尚待發掘的資源，小至個人、大至組織，能夠在此產生連結，偏遠小學也可因此獲得一個可信賴、可使用的再生模式。首先，我們將系統性的整理、歸納國外相關的研究，看其中是否有可以借鏡的地方，但因國情不同，將國外的方式全然的套在台灣的情況上，並不恰當。我們會隨著一些公益團體下鄉的機會，進行實地調查；此外，我們將對相關學校進行問卷調查，廣泛瞭解現況。過程中，並將以參與式研究的方式，導入諮商，以服務弱勢族群。我們將定期與政府、教育界、企業界、非營利組織及媒體等進行接觸，以刺激彼此互動、並蒐集相關資料。另外，我們希望能建立一個個案資料庫，蒐集瀕臨廢校的一些個案，供研究、紀錄、觀察、知識操作與累積之用。
