    Abstract: 本文以1999年和2003年「國際數學與科學教育成就趨勢調查」的學校、教師和學生問卷資料，探討影響高低成就女學生學業成就和學習興趣的因素。研究樣本為台灣八年級和四年級女學生，其中高低成就係根據「國際數學與科學教育成就趨勢調查」手冊的國際標竿作為劃分依據。本文屬於探索性研究，主要使用因素分析和逐步多元迴歸分析等方法。研究結果顯示，「國際數學與科學教育成就趨勢調查」的學生問卷比學校及教師問卷，有較多可以預測和解釋影響學業成就和學習興趣變項的數量。高成就女學生自認為該科的表現不錯、比他人容易學習和認為是自己擅長的科目時，則有助於其學業成就，如果雙親的學歷或家中的教育設備愈好，也有正向助益；低成就女學生，如果重視休閒時間和擅長運動、能知覺到學校教師對學生秉持的積極正向態度、感受到教師的關心和付出，那麼也會有比較好的成就表現；如果女學生對某學科具有自信心，且認為該科對生活應用有助益，則可以增加其學習興趣；至於科學學科，則參與小組活動討論和實驗，亦可以增加學生的學習興趣。最後，本文根據結果提出若干建議。
