    Title: 臺灣地區國中生去向預測之初探

    Abstract: 為使國中輔導部門能在國中生未畢業之前就能區別出升學者、就業者,與未升學亦未就業者,從而予以適當輔導,本研究嘗試採取區別分析,以學業成績及社經背景為區別變項。取樣是依分層立意取樣法,從院、省轄市、北、中、南部鄉鎮地區及偏遠地區取出二十一所學校,每所學校初步原則定為六十八、六十九、七十學年度畢業者,每屆取升學者十名,就業者二十五名,未升學亦未就業者五名。寄發問卷,結果回收一四二七份樣本,其中包括升學者四三六份,就業者七八一份,未升學亦未就業者二一0份。區別分析的結果,三組在學業與社經背景有顯著差異。以升學者最優,未升學亦未就業者次之,就業者最低。從領域圖可看出,大致上,社經背景高的,且學業成績好的,會升學;而社經背景低的,但學業成績好的,也會升學。反之,社經背景低的,學業成績也差的,會就業;即使社經背景高,但學業成績差的,也會就業。而未升學亦未就業者介乎升學者與就業者之間,由於未升學亦未就業組的領域太狹窄,預測準確率較低。此外亦求出分類方程係數,可用以對國中生的分類。
